Aired on June 12, 2020
Episode Description
How do we stay healthy in the day of viruses? The CEO of youtube states they will censor information on vitamin C and Curcumin. What is the science behind their decision. Dr. Levy will discuss the role of oxidative stress (redox) in health and chronic and acute diseases, and gives advice on how to stay healthy and keep our immunity strong

There is an increase in illness
- 1/6 of children have a developmental disorder
- Up to one half have a chronic disease
- There is a huge increase in ADHD, autism
- Some research studies show the age of maximal health peak to be age 27
Why is there such an increase in disease
- Disease comes from increased oxidative stress in cells
- There is no disease if there is no increased oxidative stress inside cells
- Due to increased toxic exposure and cumulative toxicity
- 50 years ago, the average person was exposed to 5 % of the toxins we are exposed to today
- All health depends on body redox ability
- All toxins increase oxidative stress
- Increased oxidation, increased electrons
- Toxin is an oxidized molecule meaning it is short on electrons
- A toxin seeks electrical stability by seeking electrons which they take away
- Once the toxin takes these electrons, toxins become electrically stable and will not give up these electrons
- Oxidation is when a molecule loses and electron and has diminished or no function
- Reduction is when you return an electron back to an oxidized molecule
- This determines all disease location and number of oxidized molecule
- Different toxins cause different diseases because they have different chemical structures which determines where these molecules go.
- These toxins might be hard to measure as lead goes to the bone.
- There are a large number of internal toxins such as dental infections, gum infections, tonsil infections all of which present high levels of oxidative stress
Cell health
- Most reliable measure of cell health is the internal oxidative stress
- There are four basic elements that impact levels of oxidative stress
- These are in every cell of the body
- Levels of calcium
- 100 % of all disease processes have increased oxidiative stress accompanied and caused by increased levels of calcium
- Increased calcium increases deaths for all causes
- Most people have elevated intracellular calcium and decreased magnesium
- Have to lower this first
- Levels of magnesium
- Levels of magnesium is the physiological antidote to elevated calcium levels
- Binging magnesium into cell pushes calcium out of the cell
- Is involved in 80 % of all metabolic functions in body
- Associated with a decreased overall cause death rate
- Is inversely correlated with coronary artery disease, congestive heart disease, hypertension, migraines, eclampsia, cerebrovascular restriction, can help seizures, metabolic syndrome
- In AD makes symptoms worse and neutralizes toxins
- Are a large number of diseases primarily caused by magnesium deficiency
- All diseases are worsened by magnesium deficiency
- Never get optimal health without normalizing magnesium levels
- Affects diseases associated with vascular muscle tone
- It helps hypertension by relaxing blood vessels
- Is effective against migraine
- Measuring magnesium levels in the body
- 99 % is magnesium is in cell; one % inside cell
- Only value of magnesium blood test is if it comes back low
- A normal magnesium blood level does not tell what is going on inside the cell because body is working to get blood level of blood level to be normal
- Exa test is a sublingual sample to measure intracellular magnesium, calcium, and other electrolytes
- This test correlates with various biopsies.
- It is good to supplement with magnesium as we use so much magnesium with the toxins
- Levels of vitamin C
- Helps contribute to normalization of calcium and magnesium levels
- Insulin, hydrocortisone pull vitamin C into the cell
- He postulates that hydrocortisone’s anti-inflammatory effects come from its pushing vitamin C into cells.
- Is very anti-inflammatory
- Levels of glutathione
- Needs to be synthesized in the cells
- Won’t be synthesized with the oxidative stress which will oxidize the enzymes
Toxins
- Toxins are oxidized cells that take electrons from body and keeps them
- Vitamin C helps with all toxins
- Many people with toxic loads die before toxins effect the cells
- Toxins cause a prolongation of qTc interval of heart which can cause death
- This prolonged QTC interval is caused by a decrease of magnesium
- Toxins cause a prolongation of qTc interval of heart which can cause death
- Antioxidants can donate electrons back to resolve the oxidative stress
- Treatment relies on getting electrons back to the oxidized molecules
Vitamin C
- Vitamin C will donate an electron and oxidize itself
- It will relay electrons to where needed promoting electron flows
- There are a lot of studies is on of most extensively researched
- Dissolve and inactivates viruses in test tube
- It helps with infections
- There has never been a virus that vitamin c won’t dissolve in the test tube
- Vitamin C, adequately dosed always dissolves childhood diseases
- Failures are associated with suboptimal levels of vitamin C
- Cures zeka fever virus (1016), chicogona virus in South America
- Played a role in Ebola virus in study with ozone
- Ozone and vitamin C will resolve every virus
- Helps in burns, sepsis (Chinese were knowledgeable in vitamin C
- China bailed themselves out of the corona virus with vitamin C
- There were 50 tons of vitamin C delivered to Wuhan
- Chinese are studying vitamin C 24 grams per day IV for two seeks
Role of hormones
- Hormones all decrease oxidative stress
- Hormones accelerate one or more metabolic pathways
- Are critical to how everything else works
- Have to have hormones normalized for these effects to be optimal
- Calcium channel blockers helps decrease intracellular levels of calcium
- Estrogen, testosterone and hydrocortisone are natural calcium channel blockers
- These also are anti-inflammatory
- These help stabilize metabolic syndrome
- Estrogen, testosterone and hydrocortisone are natural calcium channel blockers
Thyroid
- Is like orchestra conductor
- Low thyroid leads to
- Increased intracellular calcium
- Increased oxidative stress
- Increased system wide disease spread
- When given to a person with low thyroid, an increase magnesium in cell and decrease calcium in cell
- Low thyroid leads to
- Subclinical Hypothyroidism
- Very connected with oxidative stress, system wide infections, intracellular calcium, health
- T3/ reverse T3 shows how well thyroid is doing well
- And is a measure on how other factors can be normalized inside cell
- Is reflective of intracellular health
- The ability of infections to spread is enhances
- Such as dental infections to the heart
- When thyroid is normalized, focal infections stay local and don’t spread as easily
- Also helps cancer stay put rather than become metastatic
- Therapies to eradicate cancer don’t help if are eroding immunity at same time
- If all hormonal functions are controlled, cancers don’t metastasized and infections don’t spread
- Subclinical hypothyroidism may not show up on any doctor’s test
- Is an epidemic from overwhelming bombardment of excess toxins.
- Thyroid sits under mouth where there are many infections
- Shares lympatic and drainage pathways with mouth
- Thyroid sits under mouth where there are many infections
- Doctors’ test measures thyroid in the thyroid gland which does not tell what is going on inside the cell
- Is only good for determining hyperthyroidism or massive hypothyroidism
- Is important to measure thyroid in the cells
- The thyroid produces T 4 on only 15 % is converted to T 3
- T 4 has four iodines on it
- T3 and reverse T 3 have three iodines on it]
- T3 and reverse T3 are mirror images
- Increased reverse T3 (not usable) occurs in increased oxidative stress Increased reverse T 3 in cell results in intracellular hypothyroidism
- Want 21 as ratio of T3/ reverse T 3
- A decrease ratio of t3/ reverse T3 indicates low intracellular thyroid
- Inside cell are special enzymes called deiodinzses
- It is not good to give T 4 as many have the problem of converting T 4 to T3
- So include thyroid extract or some T 3 in treating hypothyroid
- Selenium helps the conversion of T 4 to T 3
- Propranolol , heavy metals interferes with converting T 4 to T3
- Is an epidemic from overwhelming bombardment of excess toxins.
Recommendations for Covid virus
- No body needs to die unless are five minutes away from death on ventilator
- Build up immunity
- Avoiding toxins
- Vitamin C for prevention 200 mg three times per day
- Sodium ascorbate
- Liposome encapsulated
- Magnesium chloride 20 g in a quart of water
- 15 to 100 mg per day; increase if get virus
- Cured polio in past
- Vitamin D
- Zinc
- hydroxychloroquine
- Pulls zinc into cell, and zinc kills the virus
- Nebulization of hydrogen peroxide kills in throat and sinuses
- Will knock out any symptoms
- Are using nebulized hydrogen peroxide to clean ventilators
